Living in Al Ain

The name Al Ain translates to ‘the spring’ and is also referred to as the Garden City, as it is one of the greenest spots in the Gulf region. It is the fourth largest city in the United Arab Emirates, and the second biggest in the Emirate, 130km from the capital city of Abu Dhabi.

Al Ain is increasingly populated by expatriate workers and has an impressive cultural heritage. Beautiful mountainous scenery and a collection of parks make it the perfect location in which to raise a young family.

The UAE continues to develop at an extraordinary pace and Al Ain is following suit. The city now boasts the longest man-made whitewater rafting facility in the world, one of the largest shopping malls in the country and the highest ever rated new school in the Abu Dhabi emirate!
