Brighton College

Sport

Brighton College boasts sporting facilities that are unrivalled anywhere in the region, including a multi-purpose sports hall and a 25-metre swimming pool. The IAAF-approved athletics track is the only one of its kind in Al Ain, and was used by Olympic medallists Jonathan and Alistair Brownlee as a training base ahead of their preparations for the Abu Dhabi Triathlon.

Brighton College has quickly established a reputation for sporting excellence and aims to become one of the leading sporting schools in the Gulf, producing athletes that will go on to represent their countries after leaving the College.

The philosophy for sport at the College is based on participation and enjoyment. When pupils are involved and happy, they are more likely to achieve their potential, whether as elite performers aspiring to represent their country, or as individuals who simply want to represent their House.
