    Darkness into Light

    For the first time, Darkness into Light has come to Al Ain! We would love our Brighton community and beyond, to join us as we walk together with over 150 venues around the world to raise awareness for Mental Health. As many of you are aware Darkness into Light is a unique and very special event, one which brings our community together for a very worthwhile cause.

    On Saturday 12th May we will be meeting at Green Mubazzarah Park at 4.15 am. The walk will start before sunrise and we will walk together from darkness into the light of the new dawn.

    Early bird registration will be going live on Thursday 22nd March, so please join the Instagram and FB pages and watch this space. We will also be holding a Foot Golf event on Friday 13th April to raise awareness. We would love as many teams as possible to sign up for this so please get back to Caroline Ryan on if you are interested in this particular event. 

    Al Ain Zoo Run

    The PE department at Brighton College Al Ain would like to invite you to take part in the Al Ain Zoo Run on Friday 14th April at Al Ain Zoo. This is a community event organised by the  zoo and a great chance for our pupils to take part and compete against another local talent or just to even just to take part as a family. 
    Entries are independent of school involvement and should be made online at:  

    *Remember when entering on the web site, please select Brighton College Al Ain from the Teams/Clubs list.*
    College running vests will be provided for those entering and can be collected before the event from the PE Department on Thursday 12th April, or on the morning of the event at the Zoo entrance on Friday 14th April.

    Junior School Notices

    Brighton's Got Talent is returning to the Junior School!

    Now Prep pupils will have their final auditions on Thursday 22nd March during Assembly time as the Year 2’s will be performing and it means they do not have to be out of class. The BGT Assembly will now be on Wednesday 11th April during the Pre-Prep Assembly. 

    Swimming change-over

    Year 4
    4C will stop their swimming rotation at the end of this term.  
    4D will start swimming from the beginning of the Summer Term.
    Year 5
    5M will stop their swimming rotation at the end of this term.
    5T and 5F girls will start swimming the beginning of the Summer Term.

    Arabic Week

    Arabic week will begin the first week back after the Spring Break, from Sunday 8th of April to Wednesday 11th April. 

    Prep Project Showcase

    We would again like to welcome you into the College on Tuesday 10th April, from 8.00am – 9.30am to view this term’s outstanding Prep Projects with your child. We would ask that you let your child register as normal with their tutor group at the usual time. Please then approach the security desk between the times mentioned above, in order to meet with your child and share the high standard of work produced together. Refreshments will be provided.

    We would also ask that you confirm your attendance as soon as possible to enable pupils to be excused from their lessons on this day.

    Class 2018 Graduation Ceremony

    The College graduation ceremony for our leavers from Year 12 and 13 will take place on Wednesday 2nd May at 7.00pm in the College Theatre. The family and friends of our graduates will be receiving invitations shortly. 

    Study leave

    Study Leave for all Year 11/Year 12 AS level pupils and Year 13 pupils commences on Sunday 13th May. If your son/daughter wishes to meet with any teachers during this time, he/she should email teachers directly to arrange an appointment.
