    Remembrance Day

This year, the day will be marked as Sunday 11th November and is in recognition of all those that have lost their lives in conflicts across the world, for others to enjoy a better life. Poppies will be available in the Girls’ School, main reception area and both reception desks in the Junior School.

    Winter gifts for support staff

It has become a BCAA tradition to show our thanks to the Security, cleaners and maintenance by presenting them with gifts, before the College closes for the Winter Break. We would like to encourage all pupils and their families to donate a token of their appreciation for the work done by this team who keep our school clean, tidy and safe.
Senior School pupils can give donations to their House Masters/Mistresses and Junior School pupils may hand gifts to Mrs Hassan, the Receptionist. The donations will then be passed on to Mrs Lin Brown, who is co-ordinating this collection. Gift bags for the support staff will then be assembled from these items and presented at the end of term.
A flyer with more information and gifts ideas can be read here. The deadline for donations is Monday 3rd December.
Any support that you can lend to this campaign is greatly appreciated and really helps to reinforce our emphasis on respecting and valuing all members of our College community.

    Healthy Eating in School

We are working very hard to make sure pupils eat healthy food during their time here at school. Can we remind parents that if you are bringing in classroom treats for Birthdays or celebratory days that these too keep in line with our healthy eating policy. Please try not to bring in candy and sweets for the children and instead try party favour trinkets or stickers.
