Presentation on the Progression of Phonics

Y1-5 parents are invited into College on Wednesday 12th December for a presentation on the progression of phonics.  This will begin at 8.15 and take place in the Art room in the new building. We hope it will give you practical ideas of how you can help your child at home.

    Lost property

We have a quantity of unclaimed lost property items including lunchboxes, clothing, hats and water bottles in the Junior School Main Reception area. Please claim any items as soon as possible, any items remaining after Tuesday 27th November will be donated to the Red Crescent or disposed of as appropriate. It would be very much appreciated if parents make sure that all items of clothing, water bottles and lunchboxes are clearly labelled in an effort to reduce property being misplaced, lost or taken by mistake.

    Winter gifts for support staff

It has become a BCAA tradition to show our thanks to the Security, cleaners and maintenance by presenting them with gifts, before the College closes for the Winter Break. We would like to encourage all pupils and their families to donate a token of their appreciation for the work done by this team who keep our school clean, tidy and safe.
Senior School pupils can give donations to their House Masters/Mistresses and Junior School pupils may hand gifts to Mrs Hassan, the Receptionist. The donations will then be passed on to Mrs Lin Brown, who is co-ordinating this collection. Gift bags for the support staff will then be assembled from these items and presented at the end of term.
The deadline for donations is Monday 3rd December.
Any support that you can lend to this campaign is greatly appreciated and really helps to reinforce our emphasis on respecting and valuing all members of our College community.
