    Art Exhibition

    On Monday 18th February at 4pm, the Art department will be showcasing some of our impressive GCSE and A Level artwork in the Girls’ Dining Hall, whilst a range of musical pieces will be performed by our talented pupils at Tunes@Teatime. Patrick’s Café will be open so please do come along – we look forward to seeing you.

    Book Week 

    Book Week will take place on week commencing Sunday 3rd March. We will offer a range of exciting activities and challenges throughout the week. Pupils are reminded to bring a reading book of their choice so that they can "Drop Everything and Read" during the day - this will take place once a day. Additionally, there are competitions - "Bake a book" on Sunday 3rd March (decorate a cake with some connection to a book); create a movie trailer about a book; younger students will meet authors; and on Thursday 7th March, there will be a literature-themed fancy dress day.

    Admissions and Open Days 

    We are now open for applications for September 2019. We will be holding an Admissions Information Open Morning on Tuesday February 26th from 8am in the Junior School Art Room. Parents looking to apply for places for FS1 through to Year 13 are warmly invited to attend. To book please contact

    Year 3 Picnic

    To celebrate our ‘Healthy Eating Choices’, Year 3 will be hosting a picnic for parents on Sunday 17th February, from 1:30pm in the dining hall. Pupils are encouraged to bring a picnic blanket and a snack to share (no nuts).  

    February Workshops ‘Head, Shoulders, Fingers and Toes!’ 

    Our February workshop for FS1 & 2 parents, has been moved to Thursday 28th February. The workshop will start at 8am in the Art room in the new building. This is primarily aimed towards FS1 and FS2 parents but could also be of value to Year 1 parents. 

    Senior School Notices

    COBIS Art Competition 

    The theme for our Art Competition 2019 is ‘Introduce Yourself’. With this theme, we are asking students to convey who they are through a piece of art.
    The categories are: Key Stage 3 Group Entries (Years 7-9). Pupils can use any art medium they wish. House points will be awarded to all entrants. Closing date is Tuesday 26th February. Entries should be handed to Mrs. Angus.

    Hampden International Day

    Hampden International Day will be taking place on Wednesday 27th February and all Senior School pupils are asked to come to school in their own national dress. We are also looking for photos of pupils' travels around the world. These can be sent to Allan Wilson ( or Danielle Malson (
