    Junior School Parent Consultation Meetings

We are inviting parents to attend our Junior School Parent Consultation Meetings from 3.15-6:30pm on Wednesday 11th October. These meetings will provide an opportunity for parents to discuss their child’s pastoral progress (how they have settled in) so far this term. Academic matters will not be discussed at this meeting.
Confirmation of your allocated time will have been sent to you with your weekly email. Please make sure you arrive on time for your meeting to avoid any delays for other parents and carers.

    Lost Property

A number of items including school hats, jumpers and water bottles are with Eman Hassan at the Reception Desk in the Junior School. Please make sure that your childrens’ items of clothing, water bottles and lunch boxes are clearly labelled so that we can return items to their correct owners when found. Many thanks for your support and understanding.

    Chili Challenges!

Please note that all Year 1 - 5 Prep Projects should be sent to your child's class teacher no later than Thursday 19th October.

Early Years Chilli Challenges may be handed into class on Thursday 19th October. We invite parents into class on Monday 23rd October at 12.10pm to celebrate these with us and allow your child the opportunity to show you around their new learning environment.

    Year 1 – 5 Celebration Afternoon

The Celebration Afternoon will take place on Tuesday 24th October from 2.00 pm.  All parents are cordially invited to their child's class in order to share the learning journeys for the first half term.

    Weekly parent emails

Pre-Prep will be using the '2Simple' Software for the weekly e-mails after the Half Term break. This system is the same high-quality system used in Early Years and has received overwhelmingly positive parent feedback.
Please could all parents ensure that their e-mail addresses are correct and up-to-date. If there are any changes, please ensure they are updated centrally and that the class teacher has the correct version.

An explanation e-mail will be sent to all parents during the week beginning 15th October and the class teacher will then send an invitation e-mail, marked from 2Simple, during the week beginning 22nd October. Please check your 'Spam' or 'Junk' boxes for this email.

    Senior School Notices

Great news – the Mandarin Elective with Ms Wang began this week! Boys’ sessions are on Monday and Girls’ sessions are on Tuesday. If you are interested, please go next week and the registers will be updated.

Some of our Elective activities are better suited to a session longer than 30 minutes, so we have extended them into ECA time. The session begins at 2.30pm and finishes at 4pm.

    The extended activities are:

Mandarin Boys & Girls, (I)GCSE Further Mathematics Year 10 & Year 11, International Award Year 10 - 13, Karate Girls and Spanish Cookery Club.

Please email should you have any questions.

    Celebration of Achievement Evening

Invitations have been sent home to the families of pupils who will be honoured at the event.
