    General requests

Transport home - We would be most grateful if parents could email teachers if their child is going home with someone else. For safeguarding reasons, we cannot let a child go home with a different adult unless you have informed us.

Birthdays - we understand that children are excited about their birthday and wish to celebrate, however, cakes cannot be brought into school.

School uniform - children must still wear uniform colours even if warmer clothes are worn due to the cold mornings.

    Junior School punctuality reminder

Now that the children are settled into their classes, we are able to provide more focused activities in the time before registration each morning. During this time, your child may be completing an exercise reinforcing an area covered the previous day or practising a skill at which they need to improve. As such, this time is extremely beneficial to your child's progress.
Recently, many pupils have started to arrive a little later in the morning and are subsequently missing out on valuable learning time. This is unsettling for the child and also disruptive for the whole class as they start their morning.
Our classroom door opens at 7:30 each morning and from this time onwards teachers are available for quick questions whilst the children are settling and working. At 7:40, the Attendance Register is taken. At 7:48 the UAE National Anthem is played and any arrivals after this point will be marked as late. If your child arrives after 7:50, when the daily attendance data is submitted, would you please report directly to the Front Reception desk so that children are marked as 'present'.
Thank you so much for your continued support in helping us work together.

All pupils in FS2, Year 1, 2 and 3 will be starting their swimming lessons the week commencing Sunday 18th February. Swimming for these year groups will continue till the end of the year.
