    Literacy Planet

The College has subscribed to a literacy website called Literacy Planet . This is a resource that pupils in the Middle School will be able to access from home, using their log in details provided by their English teachers. If a pupil has not yet been introduced to it in class, they will be over the next few weeks.
The site provides activities addressing grammar and punctuation rules, comprehension skills and spelling. The activities are presented in a highly engaging way and pupils will enjoy them.
Pupils are free to explore the activities as they please. Pupils in Years 6, 7 and 8 also have a set number of activities that have been allocated to them by the English department. They can access these by clicking on the ‘Tasks’ tab at the top of their home page when they have logged in. Please note that this is a fun, voluntary way for pupils to improve their English and is not a mandatory addition to the prep tasks.
