    Top UK Universities Await BCAA’s First Sixth Form Leavers 

    Pupils and staff at Brighton College Al Ain are celebrating after the College’s first set of A Level results more than matched local and national figures. 40% of A Level entries achieved A*-A, 62% achieved A*-B and 98% achieved A*- E.

    Among the pupils who were delighted with their results were:

    Iona Stewart who achieved A*A*A*A and is going on to read Human, Social & Political Sciences at Magdalene College, Cambridge.

    Heath Hollingsworth A*A*AA (Agricultural Science at University of California Davis)

    Mohamed Azribi A*AAB (PPE at King’s College, London)

    Martha Hunt A*AAB (Economics & Politics at Leeds)

    Emily Maxwell AAAB (Biomedical Engineering at Glasgow)

    Dr Ken Greig, Headmaster, said, ‘I’m delighted for our pupils and for all that they have achieved in their time at the College. They were our trailblazers and they have set a very high standard for those who follow. I wish them every success in their future lives – they are proud Old Brightonians I hope.’

    Joe Hall, Head of Sixth Form said, ‘These results allow our leavers to go on to a wide range of courses in many of the top universities around the world. We will now have alumni from the College in the USA, Canada, UK, Belgium, the Netherlands and New Zealand, as well as of course here in the UAE. But pupils are leaving with more than just great exam results, they have become well-rounded individuals with a wide range of interests and enthusiasms. A Brighton education has given them a unique perspective on their world.’

    Set in a modern, 28 acre campus, Brighton College Al Ain offers a British style curriculum to pupils aged 3 - 18 years and was first rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge in 2016. Brighton College Al Ain were proud to secure another ‘Outstanding’ rating in 2018.
