What year groups does the College offer?

In our foundation year the College comprises of the Early Years for pupils aged 3-5 (FS1 and FS2), Preparatory School, for pupils aged 5-10 (Years 1 -5), the Senior School for pupils aged 10-15 (Years 6-11) and Sixth Form for pupils aged 16-18 (Years 12-13).

What facilities does the campus have?

Brighton College Al Ain is located on a beautiful purpose-built 28 acre campus.

It offers the latest educational facilities, including a 450-seat auditorium, a full-size IAAF-accredited athletics track, 25 metre swimming pool, all weather football pitches and bespoke ICT and science labs. We offer modern and attractive learning spaces designed to enhance pupil well-being.

Heads are supported by Deputy Heads and Assistant Heads. This structure is further supported by heads of departments, housemasters, housemistresses, year leaders alongside an experienced and enthusiastic team of teachers. 

How has Brighton College Al Ain performed since opening?

Brighton College Al Ain is the second of Brighton College UK’s international sister schools and opened in Al Ain in 2013. Set in a modern, 28 acre campus, Brighton College Al Ain offers a British style curriculum to pupils aged 3 - 18 years and was first rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge in 2016. Brighton College Al Ain were proud to secure another ‘Outstanding’ rating in April 2018 and June 2023, and remain Al Ain’s only school ever to be ranked Outstanding’ by ADEK.

What languages are on offer?

 In line with Brighton Colleges globally, pupils have the opportunity to learn Arabic from Foundation Stage 1, French from Year 5 and from Year 7 (age 11), pupils initially also have the opportunity to study Spanish.

We naturally deliver Arabic for both native speakers and those learning Arabic as an additional language, in line with the Ministry of Education’s guidelines.

Is the school safe and secure?

Safety and security of children on our school premises is also an absolute priority for our school leadership and teachers. As such, we employ 24 hour security at the school and also a full time Health and Safety Manager who works closely with the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) to ensure we are compliant to ADEK requirements and to the high standards Brighton College UK adhere to.

Our extra-curricular activities run from 3pm-3.45pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays.
