Junior School Classroom Assistant

Brighton College Al Ain is fast paced and vibrant. Its success depends on many factors, not least excellent communication with parents, staff and the wider community.

The Classroom Assistant is central to the education of children in the Junior School. This is a demanding and varied role in which the Classroom Assistant will need to have a genuine love of working with young children, to share in their wonder and to inspire them to learn. They will need to have a genuine passion for teaching and learning and understand how young children learn and grow both academically and socially and emotionally.

Theatre and Performing Arts Technician

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated individual to support the day to day running of our outstanding Theatre and Performing Arts facility.
You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the theatrical sound, lighting and audio visual systems, as well as the stage, operational technology and general organisation of the Theatre environment. This would include preparing the stage and associated technology for assemblies and lessons. You would also play an integral role in the planning, preparation and performances of school productions. In addition, you would manage the booking systems for the theatre and develop links with the community and relevant outside agencies.
The post requires someone who can work on their own initiative, be able to work well as part of a team and support teachers and students in creating an inspiring learning environment and enriching opportunities.
