Brighton College

We are delighted to announce the appointment of our new Head Master, Mr  Oliver Bromley-Hall.

Born in the United Kingdom, Mr Bromley Hall was born and raised in North Nottinghamshire. Following school, Mr Bromley Hall undertook a BA in English before entering the teaching profession. Committed to lifelong learning and continual personal and professional growth, Mr Bromley Hall undertook his postgraduate studies in Educational Leadership and is currently completing Doctoral studies in Education with the University of Bath. Mr Bromley Hall is married to Lisa, an English teacher at Brighton College Al Ain, and has two children, Henry in Year 7 and Annabelle in Year 2.

Mr Bromley Hall began his career in the United Kingdom, working as a Teacher of English before leading two English departments in Outstanding schools. In 2015, Mr Bromley Hall and his family joined the Brighton family, taking on the position of Teacher of English and House Master at Brighton College Al Ain. In the eight years since joining the Al Ain community, Mr Bromley Hall has held several key leadership positions, including Deputy Head of Senior School (Pastoral), Acting Head of Senior School, Deputy Head (Whole College) and now Head Master. During Mr Bromley Hall's tenure, Brighton College Al Ain has been graded 'Outstanding' by ADEK on three consecutive occasions.

Mr Bromley Hall believes that it is the duty of schools and teachers to find and nurture the talents and passions of each individual child, providing opportunities for them to be challenged and nurtured, both academically and in their wider lives. He believes that emotional and social well-being, self-esteem, happiness and confidence are of prime importance and are in themselves inextricably linked to academic progress.

Mr Bromley Hall is incredibly proud and honoured to be leading Brighton College Al Ain and is excited to work with the community at a very exciting time for the College. He is committed to leading the College toward even greater success, solidifying its reputation as a regional and global leader in education. 

Speaking on his new role and plans for the upcoming school year, Mr Oliver Bromley-Hall, Head Master of Brighton College Al Ain said, “I am honoured to continue working with Brighton College Al Ain as I step into the role of Head Master. Another 'Oustanding' grading in our latest ADEK inspection, along with our pupils recent outstanding achievements in their GCSE and A Levels is testament to their great efforts, along with the unwavering support from our teachers and their families. I am confident that we will maintain this partnership and continue to see the College thrive.”
